Online Giving with ParishPay

ParishPay is the safe, easy, and convenient way to give to St. John. ParishPay’s easy-to-use website offers parishioners the flexibility to make online donations with a credit or debit card or electronic check  for offertory gifts, special collections, capital campaigns and appeals. It can be used in place of envelopes, checks, and cash for the weekly offertory as well as for one-time donations for special collections and appeals.

To learn more, read the About ParishPay overview and review the Frequently Asked Questions on the right.  When you’re ready to get started, just follow the directions below.  (You will need either your bank routing and account numbers OR your credit/debit card number.)

Step 1: open our ParishPay Donation Page in a new window: PARISHPAY

If you have already set up an account you can enter your username and password to login. Otherwise, click START GIVING. Our donation page on the ParishPay website will appear (click on the graphic to view larger):

STEP 2: Set up your donation(s)

With ParishPay, you can set up recurring weekly, monthly, or annual donations and make one-time donations to particular collections or appeals.

(If you are not setting up recurring donations, please skip ahead to MAKING A ONE-TIME DONATION.)

Any donation can be made on a one-time or recurring (weekly, monthly or annual) basis.  With the exception of certain funds that have limited durations, all recurring donations are set to continue until you cancel it.

Example 1: A Weekly Donation

To set up a weekly $100 donation to the Regular Offertory every Sunday:

  • Enter 100.00 in the Amount field.
  • Select Weekly from the pull-down menu.
  • Choose Sunday from the next pull-down menu.

Example 2: A Monthly Donation

If you prefer to make your donation on a monthly basis:

  • Enter the total amount in the Amount field.
  • Select Monthly from the pull-down menu.
  • Specify the date you wish to make your first donation; future donations will be made on the same day of each month.

  • Click ADD GIFT.

Example 3: An Annual Donation

If you prefer to make your donation on an annual basis:

  • Enter the total amount in the Amount field.
  • Select Annual from the pull-down menu.
  • Specify the date you wish to make your first donation; future donations will be made on the same day of each year.
  • Click ADD GIFT.

Once you click ADD GIFT, the donation appears in the Donation Basket:

If you make a mistake, simply remove the gift by clicking the Trash Can icon.

SETTING UP RECURRING DONATIONs TO secondary collections

You can also make donations to specific special collections.  When you click on a special collection, a pop-up will appear to alert you to which month the collection will occur.  For example, to make a $50 donation to the “Retired Religious Sisters” collection:

  • Click the box marked “Retired Religious Sisters”
A pop-up will appear alerting you that “Donation(s) take place in the following month(s): November”
  •  Enter the amount that you would like to contribute in November to the  “Retired Religious Sisters” collection.

Follow the same procedure for each special collection.

 Making a One-Time Donation

To make a One-Time donation to a special collection or purpose, select “Special” under “Secondary Collection”, enter the amount of your donation and choose “One-Time” as the frequency.  Then check the “Add Dedication” box and enter the name of the special collection you would like to contribute to.
  • When you have finished setting up your donations, click CONTINUE.

Step 3: Complete Your ACCOUNT INFORMation:

  • Fill in your contact information and choose the date(s) for your monthly debit.

 

  • Choose your payment method; enter your account information in the pop-up window that appears.
  • When you are finished click NEXT to confirm and submit your information.
