Do I need to register to make a donation?

To make a one-time donation, there is no need to register. However, there are several advantages to registration. For example, you can review your donation history, save your personal and payment information (credit/debit card or bank account) and set up recurring (weekly, monthly or annual) donations.

How do I schedule a weekly, monthly or annual donation?

Any donation can be made on a one-time or recurring (weekly, monthly or annual) basis. For each fund you are donating to, choose “One Time”, “Weekly”, “Monthly” or “Annual” from the pull-down menu. If you choose “Weekly”, specify the day of the week you wish to make your donation it will happen on the same day each week. If you choose “Monthly”, specify the date you wish to make your first donation; future donations will be made on the same day of each month. If you choose “Annual”, specify the month and date you wish to make your first donation; future donations will be made on the same month and date of each year. With the exception of certain funds that have limited durations, all recurring donations are set to continue until you cancel it.

How does ParishPay relate to the use of the weekly envelopes?

If you choose to set up a recurring offertory gift, this will replace your weekly envelopes.

What about Special Collections?

If you use the recurring gift feature, you can specify your giving for Special Collections (e.g., Christmas, Easter, Special Monthly, etc.) when you set up your offertory giving, Alternatively, you can make a onetime donation to any special collection at any time. One-time donations are processed immediately and do not recur.

How do I change or cancel a weekly, monthly or annual donation?

If you have set up a recurring (weekly, monthly or annual) donation, you can change or cancel it at any time. Once you log into your account, click on “Donations” at the main menu on the left-hand side. Here you will find information about your past and scheduled donation. Under Scheduled Donations. find the donation to which you want to make a change or cancellation. If you wish to make a change, click on “Edit” on the right-most column – you can change the amount of donation or the frequency. If you wish to cancel, click on the trash can icon.

Can I cancel my scheduled donations at any time?

You can log in and delete your scheduled donations at any time or contact your church administrator to delete the scheduled donations on your behalf.

Can I make a donation in someone else’s name or to a specific cause?

You can dedicate your donation in someone’s name, or to a particular cause or purpose. When making a donation, click on the checkbox next to “Add Dedication”, and a box will open up where you can type in your dedication.

How may I pay for my donations?

ParishPay accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, Discover Card, and eChecks (electronic checks).

What is an eCheck?

eCheck or electronic check is a way for you to use your bank account to make a payment online. In order to use an eCheck, you will need the routing number to your bank (usually the first nine numbers at the bottom of a paper check) and your bank account number (the second set of numbers at the bottom of a paper check).

What happens if I feel uncomfortable not having something to physically drop into the collection basket?

Special gift slips are available for you after you’re enrolled which you can drop into the collection basket during Mass if you choose.
