Laudato Si’ Reading Group at St. John – Begins Thursday, January 30

Are you concerned about the environment? Is there a helpful Catholic response to climate change? How are the poor affected by what is happening to the earth, our common home? If you think about these questions, or if you just want to read and discuss a hopeful and challenging little book, join our Pastoral Care intern, Leo Racine, and other members of the Collaborative in an enlightening three-week study of Pope Francis’ 2015 encyclicalLaudato Si’: On the Care for Our Common Home”.

The group will meet on three Thursday eveningsJanuary 30, February 6 and February 13 from 7:00 to 8:00pm at St. John in the Parish Center Boardroom.

A Visit from Chris Holownia – This Sunday, December 29

Chris Holownia, our Jesuit seminarian, will be home and joining us for both the 9:00am and 11:00am Masses this Sunday, December 29! He will joyfully accompany both choirs on the piano and also say a few words after the homily about his current placement at Loyola University of Chicago, where he has been assigned for “First Studies.” Please plan to attend one of these Masses and say hello to Chris!
