All women of the collaborative are invited to share in an Evening for Women event as we continue to explore Blessed is She, a year in contemplation of the Beatitudes. Laurie Jacob will join us, sharing her reflections on the impact grief ministry has had in her spiritual life. Laurie holds a Master of Theology degree from Boston College and is a certified Spiritual Director. Laurie was also integral in bringing The Emmaus Ministry for Grieving Parents (a one-day spiritual retreat) to our collaborative. Laurie offers a powerful message of hope found in the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Please bring a dish to share and gather at St. John in Powers Hall at 6:30pm. Chapel reflection begins at 6:45pm, after which we will break bread together.

The St. John- St. Paul Collaborative and The Emmaus Ministry for Grieving Parents invite you to a one day spiritual retreat for parents whose children of any age have died by any cause, no matter how long ago.
All are welcome to share in a study of God’s Holy Word. In his letters to the Philippians, Colossians, and Ephesians, Paul shares his encouragement, correction and instruction. While imprisoned in Rome for his faith in Jesus Christ, Paul calls the communities to rejoice even while difficulty and trial surround. His message could not be more relevant today. Study materials are available for purchase ($16) through the Collaborative.

The Collaborative Faith Enrichment Team is offering a summer course on the Gospel of Mark. Our 10 sessions use the Little Rock Scripture Study program. Meetings will alternate between parish locations.
All women of the collaborative are invited to attend the last meeting of the year on Tuesday, May 8th. In recognition of the church’s May devotion to the Blessed Virgin Mary, we are delighted that Fr. Jim Laughlin will offer Mass in the St. John chapel at 6:45pm. Mass will be followed by a pot luck supper, so please bring your favorite Spring recipe, and a friend! We will gather in Powers Hall at St. John’s at 6:30pm. Hope you will join us!
