A thank you to all the families who volunteered their time over the past four months for our Family Mass Coffee and Donuts hour. Training for new servers and refresher training for returning servers will be held on Friday, October 23 and October 30 at 3:30 p.m. in the Church. Any child who has made his or her First Communion is eligible to serve. New servers should attend both training sessions. Returning servers who need a refresher may attend one or both. We are in need of altar servers to volunteer to serve at all Masses this summer. Sign up is easy, just go to www.stjohnwellesley.org/altarservers or call the Rectory at (781) 235-0045.
Training for new altar servers will be held in the fall. Any child who has made his or her First Communion is eligible to serve. More information will be coming in September. The Family Mass, along with Donuts & Coffee, is now on summer vacation! The 9:00am Mass will be a regular liturgy until Sunday, September 13 when the Family Mass returns.
Thank you so much to all the families who volunteered this year for Donuts & Coffee set-up and clean-up. This time after Mass is a wonderful source of community and connection, and the help from our volunteers is greatly appreciated.
