Passion PlaySeeking Actors/Actresses in Grade 3 and older to help “perform” the Passion Play at the 9:00am Family Mass on Palm Sunday, March 20. Attendance at one rehearsal on Saturday, March 19 from 9:00am- 12:00pm is required/mandatory. Confirmation candidates earn 5 hours of community service credit. coffee_&_donuts_DDA thank you to all the families who volunteered their time over the past four months for our Family Mass Coffee and Donuts hour.  Special thanks to: the Bohlin Family, the Cassa Family, the Foley Family, the Hamill Family, the Hill Family, the Notari Family, the McDonough Family, the Pearson Family, the Reidy Family, the Songer Family and the Sullivan Family. We would not be able to do it without the help of so many people! Coffee and Donuts will resume on Jan 10th. We welcome anyone interested in hosting a shift in 2016 to please sign-up at stjohnwellesley.org/donuts. Thanks!!

The Religious Education 1st Grade classes will be in costume as they present the Christmas Gospel this Sunday, December 20 at the 9am Family Mass.

The Religious Ed Team wishes all our families, teachers and friends a special peace and joy at Christmas and throughout the New Year.  Thank you for sharing the gift of your wonderful children with us.

ALTARSERVERSTraining for new servers and refresher training for returning servers will be held on Friday, October 23 and October 30 at 3:30 p.m. in the Church. Any child who has made his or her First Communion is eligible to serve. New servers should attend both training sessions. Returning servers who need a refresher may attend one or both.  If you have any questions, please email us or call the office at 781-235-0045. Family Mass_AltarWelcome Back! We are looking forward to an exciting year of praying and worshiping together, filled with wonderful liturgies, events and hospitality.
Participate in the Family Mass: There are many opportunities for parents and children to participate during the Family Mass. Would your child like to bring up the gifts one Sunday? Or help pass the collection basket? If so, please email our Family Mass Coordinator, Chrissy Cassa to schedule a day that works for your family.
Donuts & Coffee Hour: Please come downstairs to Powers Hall after the Family Mass for a cup of coffee, donut or bagel and catch up with friends. If you are new to the parish, this is a great time to connect with other St. John families!
And finally, this wonderful Family Mass social hour could not happen without your help! Please consider signing up for a Sunday to help with set-up and clean-up. An online signup form and all the details are on the web at: stjohnwellesley.org/donuts

ALTARSERVERSWe are in need of altar servers to volunteer to serve at all Masses this summer.  Sign up is easy, just go to www.stjohnwellesley.org/altarservers or call the Rectory at (781) 235-0045.

Training for new altar servers will be held in the fall. Any child who has made his or her First Communion is eligible to serve. Family Mass On Break for Summer

family-vacationThe Family Mass, along with Donuts & Coffee, is now on summer vacation! The 9:00am Mass will be a regular liturgy until Sunday, September 13 when the Family Mass returns.

Thank you so much to all the families who volunteered this year for Donuts & Coffee set-up and clean-up. This time after Mass is a wonderful source of community and connection, and the help from our volunteers is greatly appreciated.
