“Anyone who needs a coat will have one.” Do you have any warm coats in your closets that you would like to donate? We will be collecting coats – coats for babies, toddlers, children, teens and adults – to contribute to Anton Cleaner’s 18th Annual Coat Collection on two consecutive weekends in November. Only warm winter jackets, including ski jackets are needed (please do not include spring coats, sweatshirts, vests or clothing that is torn or has broken zippers.) We need your help to provide hundreds of sandwiches this Sunday, August 26 for the Bristol Lodge in Waltham. Since 1995, St. John’s has helped serve the homeless by providing sandwiches on the 4th and 5th (when there is one) Sunday of each month. The sandwiches provide a nourishing mid-day meal for the residents of shelters which are closed during the daytime hours.
