Give_ThanksThis year our Collaborative Thanksgiving Mass will be at St. John Church at 9:00am on Thanksgiving morning. Please join us!

Please Note: This will be the only daily Mass in the Collaborative on Thanksgiving Day. There will be no 7:00am at St. John and no 9:00am at St. Paul.

Attention Young Singers! Christmas Youth Choir Sign-Up and First Rehearsal November 4

Our 18th Annual Christmas Youth Choir sign-up and first rehearsal will take place Sunday, November 4 from 10:50-11:50am. All students in grade 1-8 are invited to participate. High School (grade 9-12) Assistants are also welcome (counts towards confirmation community service credit!) Seven rehearsals will take place on the following dates and times (which do not conflict with Sunday Morning Religious Education):

November 4:  10:50-11:50am
November 18:  10:50-11:50am
*November 25:  10:00-11:00am
December 2:  10:50-11:50am
December 9:  10:50-11:50am
*December 16:  10:00-11:00am
*December 23:  10:00 – 11:00am

*Note earlier time.

Children will participate in the 5:30pm Family Mass on Christmas Eve. All rehearsals are in St. John’s Chapel. For more information, please email Maria Wardwell (or by telephone at 781-237-2148. )

Family Mass Music Starts Up Again on Sunday, September 9

Children and adults blend voice and instruments to praise the Lord and enrich our Sunday 9:00am Family Mass with upbeat, child-friendly, hand-clapping hymns. During the school year, we rehearse each Sunday morning at 8:00am in the Music Office on the lower level of the church to prepare for that day’s 9:00am Mass (no need to commit to every Sunday.) We also prepare special liturgies for Grade Level Masses, Advent, Christmas, Lent, Palm Sunday, Easter, and Pentecost. All ages, Grade 1 and older, are welcome! Our Sunday Family Mass Program is on Summer Vacation!

Our Sunday 9:00am Mass will be a regular liturgy until the Family Mass returns in September with child-focused  homilies and Donuts & Coffee.

Thank you so much to all the families who volunteered this year for Donuts & Coffee set-up and clean-up. This time after Mass is a wonderful source of community and connection, and the help from our volunteers is greatly appreciated.

Passion PlaySeeking Actors/Actresses in Grade 3 and older to help “perform” the Passion Play at the 9:00am Family Mass on Palm Sunday, March 25. Attendance at one rehearsal on Saturday, March 24 from 9:00am- 12:00pm is required/mandatory. Confirmation candidates earn 5 hours of community service credit. coffee_&_donuts_DDDonuts & Coffee is ready to go for the New Year! All we need are some volunteers to host. Please sign-up on the board in the Social Hall or email Chrissy Cassa if you would like to volunteer. If you haven’t volunteered before – it’s easy and the kids love to help! Everything is delivered to the
Social Hall – all you have to do is set-up and clean-up.  Thank you to all the families who have helped since September:
